Regular, spa and deluxe: what each one includes, and what gel polish adds.
What each pedicure includes
A regular pedicure is a foot soak, nail shaping, cuticle care, heel scrub, lotion and polish. It is $40 with standard polish and $55 with gel polish.
A spa pedicure is the regular pedicure plus an exfoliating sugar scrub, at $50 or $65. A deluxe pedicure adds exfoliation and a paraffin wax treatment, at $60 or $75. The difference between the three is what is done to the skin rather than what is done to the nails.
If the nails only need tidying, a buff and shape is priced on its own at $25, or $40 with gel polish. Gel polish removal on toes is $15.
Standard polish or gel
Every pedicure row above is priced twice, once with standard polish and once with gel polish. Gel is the longer-wearing finish, the one often asked for as shellac, and it is what the difference between the two prices on each row buys.
Gel comes off as a booked service rather than at home. Pedicure removal includes the nails cut, shaped and finished with a strengthening polish, which is the same rule that applies to every other system on the nail menu.
The chairs, and how to book
Pedicures are done in the studio's black massage chairs, each with its own foot spa, with towels on the shelf above them. Vee and Anna do the nail work.
Every row above books its own slot on Fresha, so pick the pedicure and the finish you want and the right amount of time is set aside. If you want a manicure or a set of nails in the same visit, add that as a second service when you book rather than asking on the day. The nail menu in Brighton carries every other row.
